is proud to present its DSP-based Corrosion-Erosion Monitor (CEM), designed to
provide a robust nondestructive solution to your wall thickness monitoring
needs. Based on ClampOn’s well-proven DSP technology, and utilizing
state-of-the-art guided wave acoustic analysis to assess wall thickness losses,
the CEM further reinforces ClampOn’s dedication to providing the oil and gas
industry with the tools it needs to optimize its investments. The CEM uses up
to eight ultrasonic transceivers deployed on the surface of a pipe. These
transceivers send and receive acoustic guided wave signals between one another,
building up a matrix of ‘paths’, each of which quantifies wall
thickness loss between the two transceivers involved. These thickness values
are obtained by a robust guided wave processing technique developed by ClampOn,
and presented to the user through an easy-to-use interface.

The ClampOn DSP Pig Detector accurately registers the passage of all types of pigs in real time and transmits a signal to the operator. It also indicates the amount of debris pushed ahead by the pig during pipeline cleaning operations.
ClampOn pig detection systems have been successfully tested and used by a large number of clients for many years, and this latest model makes the system even more compact and reliable.
